Stackscale participates in the CISO Day 2020 event

Stackscale at CISO Day 2020 cyber security event

This year we participate as sponsor in the CISO Day 2020 event that will take place on September 17, in a hybrid format. CISO Day is a yearly cyber security congress, focused on the role of Chief Information Security Officers, organized by CyberSecurity News. This event is targeted to all kinds of cyber security professionals (CISOs, researchers, hackers…) and will include diverse case studies, round tables and interviews to CISOs, among other activities.

After the success of its first edition in 2019, CISO Day is back to present the cyber security challenges in the public and private sectors, how is cyber security managed in international companies and the latest trends and researches in the cyber security field at the hands of cyber security providers. Furthermore, in this new edition, topics such as cyber security in remote working environments or the increase in cyberattacks during the health emergency situation will be in the spotlight.

How will the CISO Day 2020 event be?

In order to adapt the event to the current security and prevention requirements, the CISO Day 2020 edition will have a hybrid format: in-person + virtual. On September 17, the event will take place in the facilities of Cines Centro Comercial Palacio de Hielo from 8:30AM to 2:30PM, with a limited audience and following the recommended health measures. Besides, it will be broadcasted live on the event’s website (in Spanish).

Moreover, until September 30, attendants will continue to have access to the event’s platform and contents.

Who will participate in the CISO Day 2020 event?

The event will count on expert cyber security speakers from the public and private sectors. Some of the confirmed speakers are the chief of the Cyber security department at the National Cryptologic Center in Spain, Javier Candau; the Cyber security and fight against misinformation chief at DSN (Spanish Government), Mar López; HomeServe’s CISO, Sara Martín, and ING Spain’s CISO, Gustavo Lozano.

If you would like to attend the event, you can still register for the CISO Day 2020 event (in Spanish) to access and participate in the virtual event.
